BRIEF
Florida FBLA-PBL was looking for a theme / identity for a new event called \"Level Up\" so they decided to survey their members to find out what they think \"Level Up\" represents.
Their responses were the main inspiration for this design.
Some of the survey results:
- An arcade machine
- Stairs, an arrow going up
- Video game characters going to the next level
- Retro-looking / sort of neon colors
- Some kind of reference to Florida
DESIGN PROCESS
I started with the arcade machine, making it the centerpiece of the design.
On the arcade screen I included a nod to the classic video game Mario Bros. To move to the next level, Mario must always climb some climbers and jump to the flag.
I completed the design by adding Florida elements and giving it that retro look with the neon colors.
The client loved the design!")

BRIEF
The client presented 2 options as themes for the logo :.
1) The King theme (a crown / king in the logo)
2) The Viking theme (as a reference to the Nordic countries participating in the tournament).
Note: This is the concept based on the Viking theme. In my portfolio you can also find the design I submitted for the King theme.
DESIGN PROCESS
I followed the client's request and I used a Viking character in the design.
Since the logo is for \"King of Nordic\" I didn't want the character to just look like a common warrior. Instead, I decided to give him a more imposing look. I wanted him to be someone who looks like a king.
The blue cloak and golden armor with wolves on the shoulders helped convey this concept even further.

BRIEF:
The brand stand for trustworthy, strong hold, affordable, durable.
Image of a bee - strong, powerful, wearing a hard hat.
Yellow and black colors.
DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for information and references about bees, construction workers, and muscular men in order to create a character with a strong presence.
Once I had enough information, I created the first samples and sent them to the client.
He was very satisfied with the design and asked me if I could also do an alternative version with a black / dark gray helmet.
The next thing we did was to test different shades of yellow (lighter, darker, more orange, more yellow, etc.) until we found the ideal color for this design.
Once the client was 100% satisfied with the design, we closed the project.")

BRIEF
Client \"If possible make the logo resemble a blacksmith forge with a spin on gaming\"
DESIGN PROCESS
The client mentioned that Electronic Forge was a place where gamers went to \"forge\" themselves as expert gamers.
So with that in mind, I created a concept where a blacksmith is forging a joystick as if it were a hot piece of metal.
The end result is a visual representation of a gamer \"forging\" his skills.")

BRIEF
The client reached out looking for a mascot logo that represents his e-sports team.
The client wanted a white tiger with a fierce expression looking straight ahead as the main figure in the design.
Color palette: white and blue.
DESIGN PROCESS
The design process was actually very simple. I created a cool tiger for them and they loved it.
I sent the first samples to the client and there were no corrections so the whole process was quite fast.")

BRIEF
Client: \"The LitterGuard mascot logo is intended to be the LIFEGUARD for your litterbox and should closely resemble a traditional lifeguard appearance. The mascot logo should look like a domestic short hair breed. I love the humanized smile (no fangs), thumbs up, and happy vibe portrayed by the example image. \"
DESIGN PROCESS
The client offered a preview version of the logo, as a sketch, so the creative process started from that reference.
The client really liked my first sample, but he thought the character looked a bit intimidating for being so muscular.
It was very important to the client that the character look friendly, so I made the necessary adjustments: I added a friendlier open-mouthed smile and I kept the character's athletic body, but made him less muscular.

BRIEF
We are looking for a logo and mascot for our company.
We would like it to be an animal like a frog or a bee so that it reflects the eco-friendly nature of our business.
DESING PROCESS
The first step was to talk to the client to define which animal would be used as a reference for the mascot.
Once they decided on a frog I started working on the character.
I suggested to the client that the mascot wear the uniform of the company's employees and he was totally on board with the idea.
The client loves the end result!
We established an awesome relationship that allowed us to work together on other projects related to this brand.")

BRIEF
The client contacted me because he found online the logo that I created for the Level Up FBLA 2019-2020 event (see my portfolio) and he wanted something very similar to that.
He wanted the same colors and the same retro gaming style.
DESING PROCESS
I suggested to the customer the idea of using a hand grabbing a Nintendo gamepad. That concept would represent the idea of retro gaming with the Nintendo gamepad and the idea of having / collecting with the hand holding it. To collect it you have to have it in your hand.
The client agreed with the idea and I got to work on it.
I made some modifications to the original Nintendo gamepad to avoid copyright infringement but it is still recognizable as an \"old\" gamepad.
Once the client saw the first samples he loved the design and no modifications were necessary.")
