The emphasis was on simplicity, which is useful for a logo. It also has a slightly futuristic vibe. The entire text is made from custom-made letters in line with the J and L in the sign. This particular version of the logo is intended to appear at the beginning of the documentary film \"Forever Young\" that Johnson & Lewis are producing.")

The concept that authors were trying to develop for the poster was the boundary between life, in its organic and natural form, and science. The idea was ro show a Tree of Life kind of tree in the upper half of the poster with prolific greenery, and the rays of the sun coming from behind the tree toward the viewer, suggestive of the kingdom of life and all of its optimistic promise, and then in the lower half of the poster, the roots of the tree below the ground, but more like digital circuits on a computer motherboard, suggestive of science.")
