Unless you want your book to be sold in sex shops you need to consider many psychological barriers you may encounter when you make your cover too provocative. Will people take your book and go with it to the shop’s cashier with red cheeks? To prevent embarrassments, I needed to give just elements to allow the audience’s imagination to fill in the details. I always keep your marketing strategy in mind.
Isis is an angel with wings and in this design I combined a beautiful woman with the symbols of an eagle and the white house. Making the wing 3D, this cover grabs the attention of the public.")

“The illustration should be from the perspective of being in the middle of the water looking towards the shoreline where there is a tavern, a gravel road to a boat launch area, a dock extending into the water, white-caps in the water, Michigan foliage (e.g. trees) in the background and the skyline above in the evening.\"
A front view from the lake did not give me enough space to add all the requested elements. So I have changed the angle of view too sideward, an idea that was widely followed by other designers. I have used 16 images and blended them seamlessly together to create a new one. Although, nothing is real, I did my research well and selected only pictures from that region to obtain the authentic look. I spend days getting the details right. The rowing boat, neon sign, silhouette, flag, and lighthouse are all elements that contribute to the overall atmosphere of the design, but also the lighting, shadowing and the added contrast.")

The best idea among my inner-circle that has been offered hearkens to the aforementioned epilogue. That idea involves a box - possibly on a quilt or obvious bed cover - with some of its contents scattered outside of it. Some of the contents could be specific to the story (especially the headband tiara, a ticket to a Sound of Music production would be great, photos) and others could be mementos typical of any love relationship (hand-written notes, cards, etc.).”
Sometimes as a designer you need to be creative to get the images you want. In this case I took pictures at my home in a setting the author liked, then I searched until I could find a real ticket to the sound of music and blended everything seamlessly together. I made the model look older and altered her dress. I really wanted to create a tender atmosphere but with enough elements to draw the attention of the audience and persuade them to take this book at hand.")

I wanted to give a character of the book a face but keep it intriguing by not revealing to much. I also have added elements referring to the background of the story (DNA, electronic parts and a dark atmosphere).")

The shadow of the boy as it reflects onto the beach/ground is that of a grown man, rather than that of the boy.
Nothing of the design is real: two different beaches, two different seas, shadow, clouds, even the boy consist of 4 different pictures. Blending this all seamlessly together and using vintage, retro, color and light effects created this special atmosphere for the book.")

The large moon and the position of the woman increases the meditational character of the design. Making the subtitle in all rainbow colors referred to the Colour Therapy and Wellness. By not overloading the design with to much details you it exudes calmness and inner peace.")
